BIOGRAPHY

A person at work is handling a cube shape objects and turning them to complete the printed image.

Karina Pasiut is a textile artist and print designer. She uses analogue techniques of screen-printing on cloth and paper combined with embroidery and appliqué. Her recent works include decorative graphics on textiles, soft 3D objects and large scale quilts. She takes her inspiration from observations of everyday life combined with reflections of the inner self. She received a BA(Hons) Degree in "Design for Textiles" at Heriot-Watt School of Textiles and Design in the Scottish Borders which included a semester at the Indian National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad.
