Moral Fibre is a group exhibition showcasing textile-based artwork by 80 artists responding to the theme. This is The House of Smalls' nineteenth exhibition, its first in Edinburgh, coinciding with the Edinburgh Fringe 2024. My piece, titled "Expectation II" from the Days & Nights textile collection, is a nearly flat work brought to life with screen-printed patterns and contrasting colors, creating a sense of depth and vividness. This piece explores the Oxford Languages definitions of "expectation"—a strong belief that something will happen and a belief that someone will achieve something. Hope you enjoy!
